Gift
Salvation is a gift from God. She cannot boast in earning such a gift. She knows her works. She knows her straying thoughts and wandering heart.
So does He.
And He loves her anyway. Unconditionally.
She could not comprehend this love, for she never felt it before. Until…
He gave her another gift.
The moment she saw her daughter,
The moment her eyes beheld her dark, wet hair and chubby cheeks,
The moment she touched perfection,
She knew love; a deeper love than ever felt before.
Love with no boundaries,
Love without rejection,
Love which never ceases.
Unconditional love.
She knew there was a God, and she sought Him.
All because of a gift.
