"I like it best!"

My brother is in town for the holidays and we are having a great time!  There is something about being with a sibling that makes one feel young again.  Anyhow, this morning he took Kristy to her horseriding lesson and then they'll go out to lunch.  I'm sure they are enjoying their time together.  While they are out, I've done some reading, and tidying up.  Nathan, my 3 year old, has been my helper.  He loves to work!  He went around looking for any stray glasses and brought them to me.  He picked up some dirty socks he found and put them in the dirty clothes.  He started unloading the dishwasher.  While helping with dishes, he said, "This is not the doctor's office, the church, or the store. This is our home and I like it best."  Awe...talk about melting a mama's heart.  He's always so wonderful to work with.  God has truly given me a beautiful family and I love them.  I agree with Nate, home is best!

Nate and I were goofing with the camera last night as the others played Wii.
We had fun and I love this photo, the look on Nate's face.
I feel like you can see tired-pregnant mama all over my face,
but I hope that isn't hiding my joy!!

  2. What a wonderful and sweet boy he is. Merry Christmas to you all. And, I don't know how I missed this before when I have looked at your blog but I see that your husband is an active Air Force. Please tell him thank you. My husband and I appreciate all our military.
